The La Bronze has been in existence for two years and it has had amazing sales, in 2016, it was launched and the copper rose gold powder was a limited-edition item that fans of Jackie Aina quickly picked up. Then in December of last year, Jackie revealed that it was back in stock.

The limited-edition highlighters, La Peach and La Bronze, were made in collaboration with Artist Couture, and they’re typically sold out, so bringing them to Sephora could mean more chances to stock up.

Regarding the difference, Jackie had this to say

"I created La Bronze because I wanted the perfect rose gold highlighter for my complexion. She's the perfect mix of deep copper and rose gold blends. Now I introduce her little sister, La Peach: The perfect mix of champagne, peach, and rose gold tones suitable for all skin tones. Use them together for the perfect mix of both."

Tips and Treatment for skincare: Beauty In Lagos and Dr Bakare

Hey Hey! So, as promised, I'm back with Part 2 of my time spent at Laserderm Clinics. I had a little chat with Dr. Bakare and also got her to answer a couple of skin-related questions. Really wanted to keep this video short and sweet, so apologies in advance for all the 'chopping and screwing'.

A lot of people these days always go through skincare problems particularly with the face well Beauty Revolution Studio has something for you. Beauty blogger, BeautyInLagos on YouTube treated the topic of Hyperpigmentation, Acne & Acne Scars with the help of Dr. Bakare ( Head of Clinicals- Laserdemic Clinics).

To start with the question of Why, not a Spa? she answered by saying in a spa one is basically going to relax and de-stress and with a dermatologist, it is quite different, the entry level of facial treatment is MICRODERMABRASION which literally takes out dirt from the face.

Q: How do i tackle hyper pigmentation and uneven skin tones?

Dr. Bakare: First, start with a Face wash and I don't advice you use a regular bar soap to wash your face because they have different PH level so you do not want your face to be too dry or too oily, look out for products that contain Glycolic Acid ; it resurfaces your skin, the Retina A which is a night cream it could be Retina A (Acne Prone Skin) or Retinol (Normal Skin type) and finally sunscreen. You can also use Kojic Acid, Arbutin, Lactic Acid and Vitamin C they are natural lighters. In the long run using Hydroquinone and when you stop it creates a rebound of hyper pigmentation but the natural lighteners can be used as alternatives for the long run.

Q: How do you treat acne and acne scars?

Dr Bakare: Acne leaves a spot behind called PIH (Post Inflammatory Hyper pigmentation) so to prevent PIH getting worse it is advised to use Vitamin C. How to deal with normal Acne; this depends on the age, Number one treatment that is prescribed are contraceptives most frequently Dianette which is known for curing Acne but not a contraceptive appeal.
